nah decided on a grade c the clamps look rubbish anyway and to be honest I don't use the clamp on my rexon unit much anyway
I've got one of the EvoSAW355 models, supposedly more 'industrial quality' than the diy models, and it leaves a finish like glass on steel tubing or angle. I tried it on oak recently and it spewed dust all over the area where I normally weld and grind, to the extent that I cleaned it all up afterwards in case of the chance of, spark ignition...dust and a fine squiggle of shavings that would make perfect kindling.
I wedge a cardboard box behind it to catch more of the metal chips that come off and miss the chip drawer. You are very aware of the power of the motor lowering it onto the cut as well...
Why not use a ceramic pot?I have an upside-down flower pot lashed to the output hose on the back of the rage to try and lessen the amount of razor sharp, re-hot chips from landing in the back of my neck.
One pot does a couple of months then it's shredded and time for a new one.
Yeah - bits of hot metal and hot ceramic! Why not use a ceramic pot?
:-p
You mean for intellectual property rights? We'll see.......does he get commission SBF
