Hi, I'm new to the forum but I've been having a nosey at the mig welder reviews and comments. I have some welding needing done on my 2005 land rover discovery and have decided to do it myself along with my son as a project. I have some experience at stick welding but only tried mig a couple of times and at the time didn't really like it, though I never really gave it a chance. So after looking about the forum I think I have decided on a Paton welding machine, either the Standard 160 or the Euromig 150. I'm leaning towards the Euromig but before I buy does anyone have any experience or advice about them? The Euromig comes with a kit which looks pretty good and is also swaying me towards it. Thanks in advance for any advise

I think the main difference is the displays, the euro having a traditional numerical only digital display (like an alarm clock) and the standard having an LCD (like a game boy) and the pro having a separate wire feeder and twin LCD displays.
