It's fairly normal to have dynamic pricing in the tyre industry I think. But you've got to remember that it works in your favour as well as against...if it's a quiet day prices do come down. All about maintaining a healthy equilibrium in the market so I'm not against it at all.

That’s why I always use private browsing (or incognito, depending which browser you use) when I look at flight prices. I think all holiday and airline sites do it if you let them write cookies all over your computer.Yeah, Emirates do this.
I think Amazon do it slightly differently, increasing the price depending on page views or purchase numbers.

Report the person to eBay . they often remove them from eBay and any associated accountsI don’t trust him…before I could confirm the price hike he was already angling to make a deal away from Ebay. He can go take a flying feck at a rolling donut….

As others have said Amazon's favorite trick I use them as the last resort these days.

If looking for flight always use incognito/private window, the other option is use a VPN and try switching your location to a different country. These places 100% track what you look at and iff you keep looking at the same flights the prices change.

Monday comes and I happen to look at those parts only to find the buy it now price on both up by 45%……
Go figure .

That's then a price you are unwilling to pay, move on, find another one at a price you are willing to pay. Or you know the original price, offer him that and if he won't accept it then that's his problem.

Yea I think you gave away too much info maybe...its quite an art to ask a question on ebay while giving away nothing to the seller. It's annoying but it's the way of the world these days.
Sometimes it's worth splitting up the questions and getting other people to ask them instead...then theres the bidding strategy too of course

I've been there myself too quite a few times...the bumper I wanted for my Volvo we'd agreed a price for it and all I wanted to do was buy the blooming thing...but not the price had to go up because he thought I had to have it and it was rare!
I even unwatchable stuff I'm interested in as the seller can see how many watchers there are too!
