Etch primer under Jotun Jotamastic 90?

Evening all
I'm planning on painting the galvanised chassis I have just bought for my Land Rover. The plan at the moment is to use Mordant solution over the galv, then Jotamastic 90 epoxy primer , then stone chip over that. However, I'm wondering if I should use etch primer between the mordant and the Jotamastic. If so, does anyone have any recommendations?

Apologies, I was on my way out and of course *I* knew what I meant!

In my opinion, the epoxy primer should go on with nothing underneath. Ideally the galvanising should have dulled a bit if that's possible.

The other purpose designed option is POR-15. It is meant for rusted or galvanised metal and can be overcoated before it's fully cured. It is what I used on my restoration project, but didn't bother with topcoat as it will not see any UV.

if you do use acid etch it has to go on first, then there will be no need for mordant solution, if you don't use acid etch make sure whatever you do use can go straight to glavanised steel, new galv is the worst to get paint to stick to
