Hello.
My friend have a old ESS 402 MW semi-automatic machine (big 3-phase, transformer), which has a 2 range switch - Q2 coarse, 1---4 and Q1 accurate 1---7 steps.
I want to replace the Q2-coarse switch but I am not sure what connections it should make. Analyzing the wiring diagram, I come to the conclusion that the transformer works very, very untypically( as for a mig-mag machine ) in speeds 1 and 2 connected in a STAR pattern, and in stages 3 and 4 connected in a DELTA. This gives a total of 4 coarse positions. Do I think right ? Here is my connection diagram ( on red), which, however, is slightly different from the (simplified) diagram in the original diagram ...
I am afraid, however, whether this is the correct connection diagram, because the switch has a
jumper for 6 terminals on one side, and it does not follow from the wiring diagram!
Regards!
