Chill out,it’s probably ongoing.I'm the same when doing any work at the stables, I have to try and load the car up with anything I might possibly need, but I still forget something![]()

How cold?Another funeral today, mother of two of the village kids..
This afternoon got dragged into the wife and her friends sea swimming (as moral support only). Good thing was, the little bay just opposite Fishguard (Pwll Gwaelod is its name) has a pub (called the Seamans Rest iirc), so myself and the other sensible males went for a pint, and very nice they were too...
The beer? Around 12 degrees, the sea a bit colder, 9 degrees (I'm told). How cold?
I have tool box envy looking at that picture!i managed to escape got the last of the welding done on my chassis, damp and misty outside so door shut and heater on, bliss

Have you noticed the bench top?I have space envy....lol
Mines fuller than that AND the floor is full.Have you noticed the bench top?
i should be ashamed lol but there is this law that states any empty flat surface will fill up with crap, thats not really a bench its just the top of the tool boxes with a piece of ply on unfortunately l left it empty overnight and woosh stuff just appeared just like thatHave you noticed the bench top?
A man after my own heart, I salute you Sir!i should be ashamed lol but there is this law that states any empty flat surface will fill up with crap, thats not really a bench its just the top of the tool boxes with a piece of ply on unfortunately l left it empty overnight and woosh stuff just appeared just like that
my real benches are at the end of the garage and i do force myself to keep them empty otherwise it drains the enthusiasm to go in there and work on stuff
i find i make a much better job of things when the place is tidy, i always promised myself a dream workshop when i retired and whilst theres room for improvement im sure its keeps me happy i made all the benches on wheels so i could push them outside and have a good sweep up every now and then, i used to be tripping over angle grinders and all sorts of crap on the floor but no more, i should have worked for maclaren lolA man after my own heart, I salute you Sir!
For me, a clean and tidy workshop is a joy to be in, as well as being more efficient and a whole lot safer, unless you're of the mind that climbing over piles of crap and not being able to find what you need is sensible...
