I am going to order a new lid later on or in the morning, trouble is I can’t make my mind up which one.
They all seem to have there favourites and critics. I like the price of the sentinel on sale at Engweld at the mo for £226, but have read that Brad on here and a couple of reviews I have watched say the weld is a bit bright even on shade 13.
The Optrel seems to have positive reviews, but some say they aren’t very robust, and I wondered if they are dark enough. Also the price, but if the code still works at ifl, it’s a similar price to the speedglas.
The speedglas, I had a 9100xx and loved it, so I assume the xxi version should be just better. I only sold the one I had as I haven’t done much welding for the last 4 years and thought I would make do with my back up Parweld. I used it on Fridsy though and it has packed up, and as I am starting to do a bit more again, I thought I would invest in another quality shield.
Sorry for another which shield post but any comments from owners and users would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much.
