Esab DTA 200 ac/dc voltage input question...

Hello all, so this is my first post:cool.
here we go.
Are all Esab DTA200 ac/dc units 1phase and 3 phase or there are some which are only 3 phase?
I mean can they all be switched from single phase to three phase or not?

Afraid I can't answer your question, but I think it would be a good addition to the forum if we had some kind of list of (the most common) 3ph machines that could be converted to run on single and the power requierments if you did so. Certainly help lots of people when buying second hand plant on a budget.

Thanks for the link but i live in Malta. However, i will try and give them a call.
i was looking in an esab DTA 200 manual it illustrates both 1phase and 3phase in the label at the back.

Would there be 2 power sockets than?

I had to switch off adblocker for the download to work (no pop ups), from a quick scan of the manual it's a single phase multi voltage machine i.e. can feed it lots of amps from a domestic single phase supply or use two phases of a 3 phase supply to get higher voltage and lower it's thirst for amps. There'll be a terminal block inside it offering various voltage options

The ESAB DTA-200 is an only two fase 380 Volts welding machine
