So after thinking it would be a good idea for about 4 years and having damaged the original last week today I replaced the original crappy esab mb14 torch with a binzel mb25. I’ve always thought the torch is the only thing that lets the welder down as it’s too short, the Swann neck is a weird angle and it overheats if you do a lot on a high setting. I thought about converting the caddy to a euro plug but because of the shape of the front and the angle of the the wire feed it was impractical. My solution was to remove the euro plug from the binzel torch and make a brass adapter.
