How about Richard's bargain Jackson true-colour mask? Still got four years' warranty on it.I think most things at the lower price end of the scale are, but the specs of the ADF look good, same optical class - 1/1/1/2 as the ESAB Sentinel. As I am only an occasional welder but now on a project requiring more precise welding of some parts my existing Clarke helmet doesn't give me view I need as a spec wearing oldie with reduced close up vision. I must say I am putting price ahead of quality, but if I get a couple of years out of it I will be reasonably satisfied.
I have had a couple of them, think there is still one in the back of the car somewhere. I thought they were no better than the other cheap ones my local place sold.If it's as good as the Warrior Tech helmet, then it'll be extremely good for the money.
The warrior tech was a budget helmet, but had a really high quality headband, I rate them a lot... my brother has one and I ordered 3 for the fab shop at work 6 months ago, no problems.

Aye that was the headband mine had, didn't notice any difference between it and the others but as you say everyone is different.Thinking about it - I'm sure I heard or read somewhere that they went through a revised headband design for the later ones.
This is the comfy one that I'm talking about

But not for sheet metal Tig work in my opinion.
Mine has become airborne many times when failing to switch to dark mode.....
Only bring it out for mig or stick now.
Has anybody any experience if this helmet?[/QUOTE
Did you buy one of these after or did you go for another helmet?
