Erbauer 9" Discs on Offer

Spotted these on offer in screwfix, £3.99 for 5 discs! I bought the only 2 they had left, yet to try them out.
Anyone used them?

Look to be a few near me available or on next day,

Iv had them before and think i still have some, i found them to wear pretty quickly but gaveme me a reasonablet cut, just beware the flex

It's a lottery with them I've had a few good ones ones with not being properly balanced and had ones explode on me lucky I had ppe on

Maybe mine were from a bad batch (12" Erbaur cutting discs for cut off saw). Ok to start with but the edge of the discs soon went black, overheated and just would not cut.

Worth checking the date stamp on the steel centre ring on any disc (they have a three year life) and will progressively deteriorate with age (being an organic resin-bonded abrasive)
