I am just pondering here. I opened up my Plasma cutter the other day as there was something not quite right with it..... OH MY!!
There was metal dust everywhere in it. I've had it for a year and looking at the ****e am surprised it still works. Metal dust laid across the pcbs it seems a short circuit waiting to happen.
So it brings me on then - those paper dust masks
They must sell stuff like that on a roll. Industrial sized coffee filter lol. Or a very low micron paint booth filter.
Lets have some ideas. I got away lucky this time a quick blow with the compressor and it worked fine again
The plan would be to fix them across the louvres and fans on welders, plasma and stereo
