Epoxy

Im preparing some abs bike fairings and some have damage, cracks etc that need a bit of reinforcement after they are plastic welded. In the past I have used cheap epoxy resins but after couple of years and a lot of vibration it was coming unstuck. Epoxy was small tubes and I could do with a big tin.

Polyester/fibreglass seems the standard filler. Im aware it has much less stick.

What should I buy?

A lot of motorcycle repair shops and garages use Inotec Topfix , not cheap but works brilliantly

For the amount I need that is not going to work, it has a price comparable to gold, and seems to be designdd for extremely fast cure which I do not need.

If you can get to the back side, reinforce it with plasterboarding joint mesh tape, then apply the epoxy over that.

It is very hard to find anything sensible on Epoxy now - all you get is info on people using it on floors or making table tops!
