You glue in rawl bolts? I thought the whole point of chemical anchors was you just use a normal bit of stud?
With the resin you do have to work quick.
Set up the threaded bar before hand...nut and washer on end.
Drill a good set of holes...align everything...make sure the threaded bars fit.
Blow out holes (straw or bit of tube)...at that point you can get the resin going.
The resin has a mixer on the end of the tube...once mixed it sets in the tube mixer so don't do one hole at a time...because you'll need a new mixer for each hole!
And wear goggles when blowing out the hole. It seems wherever i stand that dust goes straight on my face![]()


i got 3 boxes of rather prices hilti ones a while back and they never had this on? 14mmx about 400mm from memory.. good idear thou!Ends are cut off with two 45 degree cuts to form a chisel like form on the ends of the stud to give it two flats to stop it turning when you tighten it
