OK so long story short I am restoring an old beetle as a project, it is a steep learning curve and I know I will mess up along the way but the aim is to learn.
So after months of working on the chassis, I decided to do the primer. I choose a 2k epoxy primer after reading up and time on youtube. The metal was bare, sanded with 80 It took a long time but it was all clean.
The gun was set up with a good test spray pattern and here are the settings:
Tip: 1.4
Pressure: Just below 30
Primer: https://tiendaracingcolors.com/en/primer-sealer/epoxy-primer-gray-2k-iron-and-aluminum-12-kg.html
The texture is not smooth and I am quite happy to redo this but I want to know what if anything I did wrong.
Any help is much appreciated!
