Hi All!

I am currently fixing some rust/rot on the underside of my Mk2 Golf and Ive been using a 2k can of epoxy primer (with the red cap to activate the hardener inside the aerosol) to coat all the repairs. But I am doing the repairs in stages as the car sits outside as I dont have space to work on it indoors. So these cans dont really work as once ive activated it I only have a certain time period to use it completely. This is some what expensive so wanted to ask for advice on maybe going down the spray gun route and buying a tin of the epoxy so that I can mix up small amounts at a time. But I am a newbie to spray gun use so not sure what exactly I would need? What would be the cheapest option for a setup? I already have a compressor.
Or would it be better to get some brushable epoxy primer? Does this need to be mixed with hardener before use?
What would you guys recommend?
Thanks
