I am happy that you're happy with your purchase, however i like being able to get spares for my tools in 20 years time...

My tools would probably need replacing by then anyways

I can get most spares for my old makita or bosch tools...what i cannot buy it gets made...i have an old dewalt grinder on its 10th set of brushes, rotor been wound 2-3 times and has had several sets of bearings. It has cut hundred of miles of stainless steel pipe and sheet plate...

Same with my old elektra beckum grinder which has polished loads of stainless steel handrails...they dont build quality gear like that anymore...

Aye, but for most tools, there comes a point where replacing makes more sense than repairing.
