engine mounts

[Transit V6]

some pics of a job i did last year we fitted a cossy engine into a transit mk6
just thought these might be helpful to somone doing a similar job.

spare pinto block (same as cossy yb)

offered up into position

made some cardboard templates

oxy cut out of some flat plate

tacked in position

removed from van

fully welded before shot blasting

then fitted in the van

Nice job, you should be able to get that broadside nice and easy, although getting it back might prove tricky. You've gotta love how easy rwd transit are to work on.

it goes sideways nicely just need a taller axle ratio to make it a bit more drivable

another engine mount set i made a few years back mk1 escort spaceframed on sierra running gear with a rover T16 engine

No welding eh? you aint bought a Landrover then

they good m8, it makes me happy to try one or two now i've seen a couple done, just got to fix my welder now !!. got to make gear box mounts as i am changing my gear box to one from a totally different car.
