Weird one this...
In essence, talking to the pub landlady and she has a letter from the Government saying she may be eligible, as a small business for a payment to help with energy bills. She's phoned EDF who's go to, flat response was no, as in you were already on a good electricity rate, so no. Asked to speak to a supervisor, none were available.
The other thing is she lives above the pub in what is effect a two bedroom flat. Think she's the outright owner, not tied to the brewery etc. One leccy meter I think.
I'm thinking she should be entitled to something to help with energy.
Any ideas where to look as to the criteria? Her's can't be the only situation like this.
