Elliot Progress Paint Colour

Can anyone tell me the actual original colour used on Elliot Progress No. 1 Bench mount drills?
It appears to be a blue/gray but I would like to restore my drill to the original colour if possible.

Could you take a sample to somewhere that does paint matching? I think B&Q do it.

i put a post on a few weeks ago where to get the blue grey machine paint from . same as the Harrison colour

I think the blue is actually a discolouration over time, as the grey must have been sourced from a blue base. That's only my opinion though, because when I painted my Samson bar bender (mfd by Elliott) I made the mistake of painting it blue-grey, and it doesn't look so nice. The old paint was all congealed and had separated when I tried scraping through the muck to find a good patch of colour. I think machine grey is the correct colour.

I thought mine was just grey, but colours aren't my strong point.

Depending on what type of paint you chose you should be able to get it colour matched. SML paints have done it for me previously no bother.
