Bitsbox, Farnel, ebay, there’s a chap in Poland on ebay, who gets some hard to obtain items, for much less than the likes of mouser

Rs have free postage to business account holders. The rest I think have minimum orders even on account

I was going to suggest getting N Cvount with RS as you get free next day postage. But they are not the cheapest.
I use them when I need something quick. Ebay can be a lottery.

I think that Farnell long preceded Ambit. Did Ambit become Maplin? Maplin were very good, for a long time... until they became very bad.

Radio shack, Tandy ,Maplin.
I still found maplins good for switches and a few other parts just before they went under.
Coming back online it's just another expensive PC world typeshop.

true but its usually in stock and next day... if you have an order over 400 always ask for a quote, usually about 20%

And by the time you add on minimum order and postage from the others theres really not much difference

Ive not seen mouser / digikey or the luckydip that is ali-express mentioned above.

Most people in my field seem to use mouser now. But that may be as it has more of an international presence than the others.

Rapid has always seemed good value to me. Less range, but better prices if they do have what you want.
