Electrolytic weld cleaning

Just ordered up a brush and a gallon of phosphoric acid to give this a try. Do you have to use anything after to clean the acid off / neutralize it?

Just fresh water rinse/wipe off with a rag, I still have all my fingers present

Thanks for the info I'll give it a go and be back here with more questions if it all goes wrong. I'd like to try keep my fingers if at all possible as they're really handy I use them all the time (mainly picking my nose and scratching my rear end )

A good reason to stick with electrolysis and stay away from pickling paste...

Yeah if I can make things a bit safer and get good cleaning then that's a good result.

Absolutely. If I can step away from sodium hydroxide and get the same results then it’s a winner for me.

I'll run a test and report - but not now... shut the heating down in the shop for tonight and it's getting chilly out there again
