I have got a few various boxes all open if you wanted to try a few of each and see what you like best?
Was just about to suggest the same to @Kram and offer a few 3.2mm 6013's and 7018's but you've probably got a wider selection.
Open circuit voltage on new inverter welders is not a problem for 7018I get on well with BOC 6013 , £13 for 5KG at my local supplier
Far better than machine mart / ebay china unbranded cheapo's however may not be up to the same quality as the likes of ESAB etc
Also i was thinking of trying 7018 rods as my shiny new welder i can change the open circuit voltage to suit 7018 rods better , But on a lot of buzz box type welders the open circuit voltage is too low for 7018s
VODEX OR FINCORD M
Ah i see great , Will have to look at the settingsOCV is less of an issue for 7018's on inverters because they are DC, old transformer buzzboxes are AC.
What is the model that can run 6010s?Open circuit voltage on new inverter welders is not a problem for 7018
56V are enough ,mine declares 56 but gives 72V ,many times I'm able to run even E6010 with it .
Sometimes not .
What kind of welder has this mode? And there is also a current-voltage mode which confuses me a little bit, So at default it is set to 1.4 Volts per Amp for common electrodes however not sure what I would set it to for 7018 or 6010
May have to try and find a chart for Volts per Amp however doesn't seem that common of a setting from a quick google search
What kind of welder has this mode?
From the manufacturer of my welder no-oneWhat is the model that can run 6010s?
And why are you saying "sometimes not"? rod diameter or manufacturer?
The same SIDEROTERMICA CITOFLEX E6010s? And you haven't figured out what causes this?Sometimes I'm able to run complete rods without problems, someothers the arc will continuously die
Yep always the same I have 5kg package , someone gave them to me awhile ago.The same SIDEROTERMICA CITOFLEX E6010s? And you haven't figured out what causes this?
Bag them up with some sieves and they should stay dry a very long time.Just remember to buy small packages so they would not going wasted in humid weather
