the inrush current on a 110 transformer is very high and is a regular occurrence switching them on and offyou could still spur off the ring main just use an FCU. I would say if your 110v transformer is triping a 32a MCB it needs looking at.

Then batteries improved so I scrapped it and bought mostly 18v tools
