I want to buy single phase MIG with max supply current of 16A. In my consumer unit there is 32a type B
mcb I'm not using anymore. I want to replace it with 16A type C or D and use 7m long 4mm cable connected to 16A interlocked socket located in garage that is part of house (mcb for welder only)
Should I get type C breaker or go for type D instead? As far as I know 4mm cable is more than enough to handle 16A but what about inrush current?
