Electrical inspection for a house???

How much on average should an electrical inspection for a 2 bedroom terrace house cost, the buyers surveyor being a pain in the derriere and what's involved these days.

The house is in Dagenham Essex....anybody know someone with the right paperwork in the area???

Up to £25 and more per circuit depending on obstacles thats an hour a circuit can be awkward to do. I know a guy in romford who might be interested

roughly about 200.00+ up too 500 depending on what they have in the house

if any remedial work had to be done to make it pass its cert test that would have to be payed for ?
what about alot of sockets and lights that need to be checked
alot of circuits in the property ?

yep that's just for a basic 3 bed semi any remedial work is at extra cost and can get a bit pricey as the punter is committed to get you to do the work

mate had a 2 bed rewired 6 years ago £2500 plus vat prob a bit more now

Couldn’t pay me to do domestic work, plaster, fibreglass, floor boards, private people, been there got the tee shirt, no thanks.

Without exaggerating I would rather make off a 400mm 4 core SWA in a tiny box than change a ceiling rose.

I did loads of rewires as an apprentice and some of the ****e holes we went to were unbelievable! Dog turds all over one house! We refused to do that one.
One lady was a hoarder and you couldn't see any floor except the pathways into each room, no way that place got any work on it.

its great. choose your jobs and who you work for 40 quid for putting a light fitting up that takes 20 minutes and all jobs within 4 miles from home. put 3 lightbulbs in today for a rented property 40 quid you don't even have to wear a mask and guns
