Electrical/electronics help required please

[I'm getting on a bit]

I need to turn on a dc ssd drive (Run) the diagram shows a switch but i want to use two momentary pushbutton switches one for on one for off

The second question is its got variable speed showing feedback going to a symbol T6 on the manual what the hell is this T6

PLease note i am completely useless when it comes to this stuff so bear that in mind when explaining

You need a latching relay, pressing button 1 powers the coil on the relay which closes 1 pair of contacts to the coil which latch the relay, the other contacts would feed the SSD
Pressing the 2nd button, a normally closed switch, breaks the supply to the relay coil so the contacts open.
T6 = Terminal/pin 6?

RLA-1 & RLA-2 are the normally open (NO) contacts.

Pushing the NO start button energises the relay which is then held on by RLA-1.

Pushing the normally Closed stop button interrupts the current through the relay and it drops.

NO contacts RLA-2 replace the on/off switch on the machine.

This circuit will act as a no-volt release in the case of power failure.

Just one more small question what would be best to power the relay could the 10v from the drive do it ?

T6 Looks like a tachometer generator - the clue is "Tacho Generator" label on connection #1

The motor in the diagrams looks like a washing machine motor, on these the tacho is a small coil situated at the commutator end, there is a small magnet on the end of the armature shaft which rotates inside the coil. The frequency generated will be proportional to the speed of the motor.

Not sure what T6 neutral means, its not very clear! I wouldn't power a relay from the drive, the output isn't really meant to power much more than feedback to itself, you may run into speed control issues as this supply is also used for the speed ref.

The "T6 neutral" is the tacho generator attached to the motor, like I said above. Not sure about the name, perhaps it lost something in translation.

I'd use a 12v relay powered by a phone psu or similar, it will draw about 100 mA.

You could use a mains relay, but then the switches would have to be rated for mains voltages and it should be fused, and the enclosure would have to be suitable for the high voltage.
