It did come with a 12v battery?that looks like the British Leyland Sherpa
probably a power saving/range extender facilityOnly one brake light too.
Don't laugh, some years ago, I got stuck behind an electric milk float with a duff battery through Gloucester, he was obviously trying to get it back to the depot before it went completely flat. It caused chaos, a 2 mile an hour traffic jam, the traffic lights changed before it got across as it was so slow off the line.probably a power saving/range extender facility
..........as soon as you move your foot off the pedal its like being kicked in the chest from the speed is decelerates.
Our transport manager trialled an electric Kangoo, it was the 80 mile range and 6 hour charge that made it pointless
It's a narrow lane, slope about 1 in 4, so they would not have been able to get a hoist alongside to lift it, so maybe they took the easy option & closed the road rather than drag it to an area where it could be loaded. I think it's a pretty poor show when the emergency help line closes for the weekend though. Now Nissan is owned or part owned by Renault, they probably don't answer it for the 12-3 o'clock French lunch time either. They should have dragged it or hoisted onto a breakdown truck. I was watching a Motorway Cops program where a Range Rover broke down in lane 3, the electrics were dead so they couldn't release the handbrake so they just dragged it onto the breakdown truck.
