Electric power files/belt sanders

I notice that the belts are limited to 13mm wide on the electric which is narrow compared to the ‘air’ version of 20mm x520. I was hoping to find the wider foot print but that ain’t happening. Many years ago I was running the smaller air belt sander at 10mm wide and that always snapped belts quite quickly as the bearing radius was too tight. I noticed the next size up is a 30mm wide belt on the more expensive Makitas

A bit late, sorry, I only just found it again amongst all the carp in my garage. The electric motor is on the other side, pointing down.

Metabo do a lot of less common metalworking tools, I'd be surprised if they don't do a band file, probably even get a cordless one if you wanted it.
