Does it have variable speed? or is that on the pro?

I'm fairly sure the DAS 6 and the PRO both have variable speed. The basic one has 500w motor and 3m mains lead and the PRO has a 850w motor and 6m lead. There's also now a PRO+ with different body and slightly different obital action.

I've purchased the DAS6 and it'll be here monday? anyway I noticed that its limited to its own pads? so has anyone thought of cutting down a stud for its female disc mount and making the DA universal mount for Male or Female disc pads.

Damn,this is heavier than me standard grinder.....not looking forward to polishing the fairing plastics with this.

The weight of the polisher means that you don't need to press down on the panel. You just guide the machine. At least that is how I do it with a horizontal panel.

Helluva difference between a car panel and a motorcycle fairing which most are never flat plus the difficulty in holding them down is somewhat awkward.

Have a look at a small head set. Or get a mini polisher.
