I tend to use wire brushes in an electric drill for cleaning up the stuff I make, which works great.
Obviously though drills are not designed for side loadings and so the chuck end becomes quite wobbly after a period of time. Don't think drills even have bearings fitted for side loadings??
What are the alternatives, if any?
Die grinder, as far as I can tell, spins far too fast, ditto angle grinders. The latter also would have the problem of the body being in the way a lot of the time. Dremel, too small.
Could I add bearings to a drill? Buy a drill that has them? or perhaps just keep buying cheap drills and chuck them once the wobble gets too much!!
