After a couple of years of welding inactivity I have a couple of projects I want to pursue (log racks and garden ornaments). When I hooked my welder up I found the wire feed was very stuttery. The motor and rollers run smoothly so I assumed this was due to rusty wire and changed the spool. This had no effect so I have decided to change the liner. The old liner is 3060 long so I ordered a new 3m one from Weldequip assuming it to be what I needed but when it arrived today by return (What excellent service!) I found it is 3670 long. Have I mistakenly been sent the wrong liner or is the Euro Torch on my welder a somewhat older, maybe imperial, length? Or do I have to shorten the liner?
I am only asking here because the Weldequip phone line closes at 3.00pm on Fridays and I missed him by 10 minutes and it would be nice to get an answer even if it is "Wait until Monday and phone Weldequip".
