Hiya chaps,
now youve mentioned the dual voltage thing,alarm bells are ringing,i vaguely remember from a conversation that went on with the chap who i got the machine from,if i remember rightly,it is dual voltage,and he'd turned something round to sort it!!!,i think i know what it is he's switched,i'll take and post a couple of pics,does this mean its not knackered...yet?,just goto swap some bits???keep youre eyes peeled for my pics.

you heard of this Einhell make then??

the board in the middle was turned round(as per diagram inside casing) 220v i believe
anything else need moving
what do you all reckon??

hello again , yes its just as i thought you need to move the trans jumpers .
this is common , people get mixed up with the italian 3 phase as well . let me know how you get on . sedt looks a bit weathered thon so make sure all the DC connections from the rectifier are all clean as this will severely affect your welding .
the sets are not bad . the ones i have had in being very robust .
they do skimp on the contactor tho so these can tend to mess you about .
if you need any spares give me a bell no probs . might have some second hand parts in for them as well ...
