Einhell giving me hell haha

So I bought this torch in the link for my invertor just to get me started with practicing tig. I am almost certain they have send me what looks like two rods of lead instead of two red tungsten :/ am I missing something here or have I been screwed over? I will upload pictures later of what happened when I tried to get an arc going and will also upload pictures of the rod

So they haven't sent you 2 tungstens? Why do you think they are lead? Are they soft? Do they bend?

Ahhhh I see. I didn't realise he'd started welding with em. Yes your probably right. Torch in +

Sorry guys it may be more like graphite I'm not sure when I got an arc going it melted of and it smelled like pencil shavings. Going to get pictures now

Paul has probably nailed that then mate. Where are your leads plugged in.

Its gonna have to wait until tomorrow guys something has come up. Have you guys seen rods that are dark gray all over? It didn't even have a color mark and I'm not sure what I had polarity at I really should have checked that

Yeah that's the ticket. I cannot imagine that tungsten was too happy with all that current been thrown directly at it.
