Are they going to be rubbish?

Can't be much difference to the Lidl Parkside offering surely?

Better imo. Actually an "old" German firm going back to 1964. Stuff R&D'd in Germany. No doubt made in the Far East like everything else. I've wanted a 36V cordless chainsaw for years but can't really justify Makita prices. Bought an Einhell and printed Makita battery adapters. It seems really solid. No bits on it made from boiled sweets and feels like it'd pass the drop test. I'd like an aerial one too.

Long term spares is the acid test imo. That and whether they change the battery format every 5 minutes. On the face of it spares are available but the repeated "out of stock" for major bits makes me wonder if they really are/ever were in quantities to make Einhell a worthwhile buy for all your kit.

Considering the 36V brush cutter now, again as I would have limited use for it and its 1/2 the price of Makita.
