hi
my welder works fine but when turn gas on from bottle,gas comes though torch non stop

anyone know whats wrong and where to get the part from

Sounds like gas valve is jammed on, mate. Especially if it does it even when the machine is turned off.
Follow the pipe into the machine to find the valve. Sometimes you can free them by whacking carefully with a spanner or small hammer. Dunno where to get a new one, somebody likely to be along soon who knows more about Einhall than I do.

yes gas comes out still when machine is off,

if you have a multimeter and test the voltage on the valve then that should help then pm weldequip he might be able to help

everything was fine till i changed the gas pipe that was leaking

Gas solenoid stuck open sounds sensible. Probably worth checking the gas doesn't flow out even when the machine is disconnected from the power socket - could be a crazy electrical thing going on.

Can get them here - http://www.weldequip.com/gas-solenoid-valve.htm but there are a bunch of different voltages. Ought to be marked on the existing one.

Edit - though if the problem occurred when you changed the pipe - is the new pipe running through the solenoid?

sorry no multimeter,welder is fine in all ways,even welds etc,just gas wont stop coming though torch (gonna be alot of gas wasted till it fixed lol

i could do with a new torch and cable for it,its not euro fitting
(at one end it screws in and 1 wire to connect)

Would definitely try disconnecting the machine from the wall before ordering a new valve. That would rule out wiring. If it were wiring chances are the connectors were disturbed when changing the gas pipe.

machine was disconected and still leaked

perfect all fitted and all working again now

now i need a replacment torch and liner

inside torch has 2 wires and on other ned where it screws into welder i one is poping out
i have looked in shop and cant seem to see any
anyone a link,or someone who can make one
