yea nice unit and good pricehow about this one?
would it matter if I had 4 unused MCB's?yea nice unit and good price
thats a good idea with the 3d printing!Thanks for starting this thread. I have a EICR check on Monday and I had noticed a stray cable in the CU last week so I got a sparks in to check it. He cut the unused wire back out of harms way and spotted two things that would have failed my £240 check. He's swapping a MCB for a RCBO for me and I'm 3d printing a cover for the wires where they come out of the top of the CU.
would it matter if I had 4 unused MCB's?
and cut the excess buzz bar off!You could remove them and fit blanking covers.
just leave then in for further use and dont cut the bar just mark as spareand cut the excess buzz bar off!
great even better!just leave then in for further use and dont cut the bar just mark as spare
ha ha sounds exactly like mine!Mine also has 4 unused mcbs I'll do the same. Right now all the used ones are labelled and the spares are blank

@Onoff
I'd just fit a Fusebox con unit, they are reliable and come with surge protection, their reduced height double pole RCBO,s are only about £17 each!
I saw that SBS had stopped trading, caught a few sparkys out!
