Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Doing a full restomod, I’m replacing all hard pipes, including the fuel pipes. The return and vent pipes are connected to the tank via short sections of hose and pushed on, secured with bubble flares and jubilee clips or similar. The high pressure pipe was connected similarly - although I suspect this was a repair and they should have used unions.
So I’m connecting 5/16 pipe to 5/16 pipe, the requirements are that the I.d. stays constant so as not to introduce a restriction, and that the joint be easily removed so as to aid removal of the tank should the need arise.
What am I looking for? I’m guessing a fittings and quality fuel compatible hose…..?
