You do know its not free?

You have entered a rental contract.

I have not signed anything or paid any money for it. All it says is they may require me to return it after a period of time (18 months). To me that is free, how do you work out that it isn't ?

Its been on the news cos no one was reading the T&C's

I'm betting they are counting on most people missing the dead line for returning it & cancelling the contract in the correct manor or having lost / broken it by then.

I've just read the updated agreement and nowhere does it say that the rental will continue after 18 months and the only mention of money is that they can charge you up to £5 to replace it if you lose or destroy it. If at the end of the 18 months they decide to continue the scheme you will have 60 days to decline it and return your power bar. I'm usually cynical about anything like this but even on Martin's moneysavingexpert forum they can not fault it so I will carry on not worrying.

Just use it as a torch that's all I do its just a marketing ploy,
And the hassle we had getting our power bar was not worth the result to be honest.....

My wife and I both got one, we both sent a text and received a code then as we were in town passing the shop we walked in and were handed the power bar on showing the text with the code, the only way it could have been simpler is if they had sent it through the post. If that's hassle you must have a very stressful life having to go out to the shop and fetch things all the time

Sick of walking with pockets full of essentials, phone, wallet, specs, asthma thingy etc etc bla blah blah.
Keep it all in a handbag, my trousers dont try and fall down all the time and I have all my essentials in one place and I can carry a book around with me.

I can see the logic, but that still isn't justifying it. C'mon then, post a photo of the man bag. If it's floral pattern though, any further discussions about it's legitimacy are moot.

My man bag that I take camping carries all sorts of necessary stuff like harmonica, pencil, torch Swiss army knife or Leatherman type tool and a compass because you never know what might crop up

This is what I ended up with. Not flash or fancy, it is nice to have all the bits and pieces in one place.
Great to have a book about the person as a shield against bothersome weirdoes.
I think it is a cheapo copy of the one Will Smith carried about in I am Legend.
I am converted to handbagism.

Half the stuff you never need but always feel inclined to carry. Know that one well.

Matt, i did think of posting some glamour queen bag. or cutesy little leather jobbie.
it took ages to find something that looked right. And it was cheap. The posh ones are about £100, that was about 20.
Wozzaah, a slight similarity.
I was amazed not one of my mates took the ****.

Why do you need a bag with that beard, as you have already proved, you could keep most of your stuff in there out of sight
