EBay’s latest scam

Coming to the end of my tether with EBay. Been selling as a private seller for 17 years. Have 100% feedback. Have a repeat customer who just messaged me. Please explain why I would do this? Why would I limit people buying from me?why would I have over 60 items listed and then only let repeat customers buy from me every two weeks?

Must be total coincidence that this glitch crops up now that the buyer can only buy from me again once Ebay is charging fees again

Could be an ebay glitch but there is an option for you to set this yourself so Check that first.

I think you need to do it on the desktop site rather than the app,

Goto My ebay/account/site preferences/buyer requirements

In that list somewhere is the option to restrict the number of items/days for buyers

If that is set once you have changed it you may need to tell the buyer to refresh the page before they can buy again

Thanks @hotponyshoes . Yes that box ticked itself for no rhyme or reason.I haven’t been in settings for at least 10 years! Never knew you could even do that. Coincidence? I doubt it
