I knew £10 wouldn't be enough.
I'd like to bet he got that off eBay, eBay postal prices are way out.
told him to refund my money and relist it for £200 and take a few picture of the bench out of the box.

Possibly true but I could post something that size for under £20.

A scam to watch out for is they offer to go halves on the postage with you. You just need to send him £30 via bank transfer...

Item never arrives, you get the original £150 refunded by ebay but loose the £30

Surely the postage cost was there responsibly to get correct, not yours. You entered a legally binding contract to purchase it and you paid for it. I would expect them to have it delivered

I've messed up before when selling stuff on ebay and covered the cost of postage myself.

There is not much you can do to force the seller to send it though.
A negative feedback is about it as your not realistically going to start a small claims for it..

Personally, as long as I got my refund promptly, I would wait a few days and see if they relist it with the correct postage showing.
If they relist it the same as before I would leave a negitive feedback to warn others.

found another on amazon for not much more with free returns if things don't work out.
money is on the way back.

finally got my new table saw.
came today.
ordered one from amazon but it managed to disappear cancelled that order.
re ordered and got a even bigger discount. lol
only paid £159.99. original price was £256.
I'll take it of the box tomorrow,
what a faff on just to buy a saw.
