eBay Top Tips

Thought I would share my eBay top tip, which I discovered.
It's all to do with how eBay sorts searches by distance.
As an example if I put in Milling Machine into the search box and do my usual 'sort by distance' which I do for large stuff it brings back about 7 pages, now for some reason if a seller hasn't given an accurate address they end up as the last results on page 7, so in theory a seller who lives 5 miles from you could be the last result on the last page, normally I would have given up way before I got that far.
Any other tips apart from the obvious like misspellings.

No definitely its an address problem, I think it's if they incorrectly add their address, eBay cannot locate it so sticks it at the end of the listing.

I am in Somerset, the item is in Norfolk but it says location as United Kingdom and comes up as one of the last items in the search and yet there are sellers at least double that distance earlier in the search!

And yet items from China are earlier in the listing order!

If you sort by Price + P&P (Either high or low first) it puts items with delivery listed as courier last too.
