Ebay sellers blaming the post

Deliveries are all over the place atm

Had a damaged gasket from a seller, They sent a replacement. A week later still not arrived. So they sent out another replacement which arrived next day. Then the original one turned up the following day

im the same ordered some sockets last week get intouch yesterday asking for a tracking number and they said royal mail have lost it so i have to wait for royal mail to contact the seller before he will sort me out keep asking for the tracking number for proof they have sent it but they wont provide me it other stuff ordered though i have not noticed a difference in delivery service just been like normal???

If the seller won’t provide you with a tracking number then they haven’t sent it. If they had they’d provide it so you’d not keep having to bother them.
They’re lying, simple as that.

Ordered items early last week. Not recieved any of them. Tooltime, MrBandsaw, and another.
Sent message asking for tracking numbers. Tooltime were honest, they havent sent it, and no stock, but still have the listings up, taking sales. Taking their time on the refund, waiting for ebay to step in. I wont be using them again.

MrBandsaw, I will never use again. Telling me sent Monday, it should have been sent last Thursday, I dont believe it was sent. It is still not here. His excuse, the post service is slow

Post is not slow, other items are arriving as normal. Posties are doing an amazing job keeping the country running, find it very irritating when people blame others.

some of the post is slow mate i send stuff daily one package took over a week to get to liverpool where as stuff sent the same day else where took 2 days

I must stand up for Hermes - I'm not saying that they are perfect (but nor am I!) but over many years I've had very good service from Hermes both as a sender AND as a recipient.

skipped a few posts because I'm in a hurry

but parcel force are losing/delaying about 10% of what I send at work right now

they're big boxes so hard to lose, and all sent priority for next morning delivery

Never had an issue with Hermes either as a recipient or posting and our local courier is really friendly. Did see a program tonight though were they were pulling an artic up at an auction house a few times a week, yep forklift unloading it by the pallet load, lost in transit auction but a lot of the items still have the label or senders address on them still, make of that what you will.

I have used Parcel2go for quite a while (basically a bulk reseller) I won't use herpes, but use UPS local drop off (the local hardware shop is still operating).
The items I shiped last week arrived to scotland, yorkshire and wales in 2/3 days with no issue.

So my old folks are in Lancs and in lockdown. I book DHL as next day collection, 3 days after this they collect and it's still not got to Nottingham

So far I've got items quick from China (!) in less than a week, Alfa suspension springs from Poland in 4 days, Rustbusters under body wax in a day, caliper rebuild kit for the Alfa in a few days from 30mile away, and so far taken 3 weeks for a Lancia (well, really sold as Alfa, Audi and something else) seal kit to come from London . . although further investigation reveals it might be Lithuania . . .
