bet it was cheap though I bought an adjustable arm for my magnetic stand and dial gauge .its well made and from china 8 quid. took 6 weeks to come thoughI've recently bought a laser sight for a pistol, particularly chose it because it said item location Leeds, delivery 2 to 3 days, 12 days later it turned up from china, I'd pretty much given up on it by the time it arrived.
It was cheap, and is the reason I never made an issue of it, I never spend any more on eBay than I am prepared to lose.bet it was cheap though
This as i said above is the problem. They will ship it from the UK if they have it in stock. If not they ship it from elsewhere.I've recently bought a laser sight for a pistol, particularly chose it because it said item location Leeds, delivery 2 to 3 days, 12 days later it turned up from china, I'd pretty much given up on it by the time it arrived.
Kinda similar, i was looking for a new dog whistle. One advertised on eBay, £2.98 free postage from Edinburgh. Clicked the button, paid, got the receipt- it’s coming from flipping China! How do they get away with stating it’s in Edinburgh when it’s actually in China? Complained but no reply yet
eBay set the shipping and import prices when selling through gsp so that was his problem not yours, same with him not having his registered address set to something suitable for him. As for the loss, that's completely eBay's responsibility once it has been received at that warehouse up north.I've had three dealings with the global service. All disasters. Two auctions the buyers complained about the price, the third auction he wanted them to ship to an alternative address, which they will not do. They then lost the item but did pay me the full amount with shipping without any hassle.
Lucky lucky man....when it first started we had major scammers.I buy and sell extensively on eBay and have shipped stuff all over the world via the global seller program. I've had to refund 2 UK buyers in over 15 years of selling. Both were my fault...
They key is to make sure you're selling stuff that fraudulent buyers don't seem interested inLucky lucky man....when it first started we had major scammers.
