i kinda bookmark them on the pc than use ebays watchlistWhen you come across an item of interest, view it once, screen grab all of it. And don’t go back until the last hour. Never EVER add anything you actually want to your watch list.
If you really must check and see how the items doing, do a broader search that the item can come up in if possible, make sure you click on something else, and draw the algorithm in that direction. If not just check the item is still there and move on, again do not actually visit the listing.
If you’re looking for weird and obscure stuff, which lets face it if your on the forum you probably are, this works very well.
I sometimes wonder how many auctions the forum has wrecked for savvy bidders with the eBay etc. bit in the for sale section!
do another check nearer the time using the bookmarks i have makes no difference if your logged into ebay or not
even this forum has had some bargains from me and my bidding on items
some ebay actions are for the members on here so the interest in the item is better for them even i would use that method as well
