Easy CAD Program ?

is autocad easy to work with though ?

I hate autocad
Like Windows it has become so bloated over the years, there are so many better CAD program's available.
The file sizes are huge for basic 2D files
A lot of the free ones are much better than Autocad

I found that with Autosketch, loads of "features" getting in the way and a steep learning curve.

A lot open source software is the same, too Geeky.

Specifically?

It's hard to see how you could draw with fewer commands - although I appreciate that when it comes to rapid repetition or amending stuff, some of the earlier versions of AutoCAD were better. Seems like every release they change stuff just for the hell of it.
As I recall, though, Auto and Turbo CADs were near-identical for the basic stuff and Solidworks is much the same albeit with different names for the commands. I've even looked at Google SketchUp and still find AutoCAD to be quicker.
