eastwood plasma torch fault

Hi all i bought a eastwood versa cut straight out of the box i had and issue with the air line leaking and the plasma torch stopping and starting i have only used it a couple of times to cut sheet material, i didnt have anything to do today so was playing around with when all of a sudden it complete stopped working dismantled the torch to find it all burnt up.

Really annoyed with it and hopefully with it only been a few weeks old frost will do something about it. Really i should of contacted them straight away regarding the torch stopping and starting but im fed up of having to complain about things not been right.

haven't been using it next to a magnet have you ?

No, no magnet the issue was straight from out of the box but after reading some forums i thought it could be a water issue so i actually have two water catchers on it one built into the machine and one on the compressor so it runs from the compressor into filter through the line into built in filter then out through the torch so this should of made sure the line is completely dry.

The issue has always been there but i could move the torch lead and it appeared to make it work so im not sure if theres a loose connection somewere within the gun itself.

To be honest with you there was also an air leak inside the unit but after inspecting it was a push fit airline what needed pushing back in this sorted that problem.

Im hopeing frost will send me a new torch and lead or a completely new unit

Its around 2 weeks old only used two or three times brand new and brand new compressor

Spoke to frost they spoke to east wood in america they advised a new torch is needed so waiting for a new one to be sent so far a cannot complain, service has been great
