Eastwood ac/dc tig welder

Does anyone on here have any experience with the eastwood ac/dc tig welder? looking at buying a tig welder next week and was gonna get the r-tech 160 but then found these from froost and was just wondering if anyone has one

No personal experience with the Eastwood but I do have the Rtech, my only concern with an Eastwood from Frost would be the availability of spares/repairs in the future.
There was a discussion here on the Eastwood vs Rtech machines about 18 months ago I think.

yeah i think i found that thread but it didn't seem to have opinions on people who actually have one

It probably speaks volumes that you can't find anyone who has one The only thing I have read about them is that they lack the fine adjustments that the higher end manufacturers have. There are lots of youtube videos of them, watch a few then make a decision.

i can't really find many over here but a fair few americans use them, i'm always a bit weary about youtube reviews and rather actually talk to somebody who has one

I think rtech has that end of the market nailed over here as they are a uk supplier with uk based back up and spares etc.

Eastwood are probably a very similar welder at a similar price point but more US based. Haven't seen many for sale over here so I think you'd be hard pushed to find someone who has one.

frost sell them over here but i don't think anyone else does tbh i'm leaning heavily towards r-tech but saw them and seen some youtube vids so thought i'd ask on here
