Hi all, recently acquired a Clarke Mig 135 and managed to have a play yesterday to very mixed results.
This was one of my better attempts but it's clearly pretty poor. Pure Co2 and .8 stainless wire.
This was one of my smoothest beads bit finding I'm getting a lot of spatter, and occasionally it goes from a nice bead to lots of lumps and the wire seems to spark and bounce off the metal. Could this be due to a poor earth?
Also I've found the beads are sometimes suffering from holes. Could this be gas related?
Any advice you can offer would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
