Sorry my first post is going to be a question, or rather a plea for help !
I went and picked up a new bottle of gas to do some welding on my daughters kart and the wire feed transformer has gone pop. My other half is an electronics engineer but hasn't fully worked out the writing on my machine so wondered if anyone could offer any advice.
We are assuming that the output from the transformer should be 12 volts and hoped that by adding a power supply to the output terminals of the transformer I could do the welding needed and then fix it properly.
There seems to be more than 12 volts involved and we haven't figured out if we need to disconnect anything.
